hi Tanya. yep, still selling them by the tons!!! unfortunately (for you not me ), i have no office hours on fridays. see the "buy it" link on my website at www.europhonecards.org for office location and hours. worth buying at the office since i sell the cards to mm-ers for 5.50 euros (for the 6 euro card) and 11 euros (for the 12 euro card). there is also a "BUY ONLINE!!!" link on that page in case ya can't make my (admittedly limited) office hours hey, i'm a free spirit, can't be pent up in an office all day. online there is no discount and the 6 euro card goes for 6.50 and 12 euro card for 13 euros (more expensive since i gotta pay online payment commissions). saludos, jer... saludos, jer...

hey rebrites. quote: (It's supposed to work from anywhere in UK or Europe.) as far as i know, the eurodirect cards are country specific so a u.k. one would not work from spain at least the spain ones do not work from anywhere but spain. i have heard there is a card called "Eurodirect" that they sell in other European countries that works from anywhere in euorope but it is NOT the one i sell and it does not get you NEAR the minutes mine does. someone e-mailed me from france telling me they had bought a "Eurodirect" card but they were having problems with the france access number. after a few e-mails back and forth i realized it was NOT the spain eurodirect but rather a diff. Eurodirect card. if the card does not look like this (but smaller )... ... it is not the one you want for calling from spain. ACCEPT NO IMITATIONS saludos, jer...

by the way Tanya. the absolute cheapest way to call back home with eurodirect is to have acccess to a private landline that gets local calls for free. there are MANY adsl+calls offers out there that do this. this way, the local call to the 912910067 eurodirect access number is free and you get 800 mins. with a 6 euro card. comes to a total of three quarters of a cent per minute!!! best way to use it from a cell phone (i understand many do not have access to landlines in spain) is to get a vodafone spain pay-as-you-go SIM card, set it to the vodafone plan vitimina 60x1 and use the 912910067 access number for eurodirect. this will cost 40 cents for up to an hour to the eurodirect access number + three quarters of a cent per min. from the eurodirect card. so, if you called the u.s.a. and spoke for say 30 minutes, the call would cost a total of 62.5 cents (40 cents from your vodafone credit + 22.5 cents from the eurodirect card credit). likewise, a 60 min. call would cost just 85 cents (40 cents from your vodafone credit + 45 cents from the eurodirect card credit). you can read more about this savings plan at www.spainsim.com/vodmovicallcards.htmsaludos, jer...

Noooooooooooooo My card just ran out and I went to buy another one and I got the following message PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL FEBRUARY 1st 2008 FOR MAJOR COMPANY RESTRUCTURING. WE WILL RE-OPEN AND THE eurodirect CARD WILL BECOME AVAILABLE AGAIN ON FEB. 1st, 2008. Either wait 10 days or pay Telefonica rates. I could search for another card but I'm real happy with Eurodirect can't beat the rates. guess I have to wait.

not for nothing rob but i sent you (and all my clients) an e-mail about the fact that i would be closed until feb. 1st and cards would not be available during my trip to the states. you responded to that mail and thanked me for giving you the warning so i am confused as to why you are now surprised that the cards are unavailable on jan. 24th yes, you will have to wait unless you can find a eurodirect card somewhere out in the city but i am sure that there are no places in tres cantos that sell it. saludos, jer...

Hard to believe but I actually used them both up! Part of it is I also use them for calling cell (movils) phones as well, it doesn't save any money but it avoids a big bill at the end of the month. Plus we made a lot of phone calls over the holidays as well.
