hey Joyseeeeeeee, a used printer may not be your best option. basic printers are pretty cheap new these days. have a look around in the usual places (fnac, pc city, mediamarkt, etc...), you will be pleasantly surprised at how low prices are. saludos, jer...

Joy. I agree with Jer. Prices these days for a good enough quality ink jet or bubble jet printer are a lot less expensive than you think. Alcampo and / or your Carrefour type store will have a few standard models that you can choose from. The real cost comes in the replacement ink cartidges. So be more influenced by the ink refills and their availablilty rather than the price of the actual printer.

I need to buy a specific HP printer for work and am trying to find a place to order it online-I tracked down the websites for all these stores, but they seem to just direct you to their stores. Is it possible to order stuff online? Or is computer stuff all pretty much purchased in stores? In which case, other than fnac, which I will check out today, are there any places in Madrid near the center to check? All these other places seem to be well outside the city....Thanks!

Wendy. please tell us what model hp you are after so we can better help you. the vast majority of the resellers do not sell online here, as you said, they simply have sites that are informative about their stores/services and you have to go buy it there. online: - carrefour. they have a tech store at http://www.tecnologia.carrefour.es/default.asp?franq=100244 . go there and click on "informatica" --> "impresoras" and have a look around. there are a TON of hp printers there but again, without the model you are after, i can't help much more. - http://www.audiotronics.es - their hp section is at http://www.audiotronics.es/products.aspx?brandid=9&cate...0&minprice=0&search= - http://www.redcoon.es - click on "informatica" --> "impresoras". the hp section can be seen directly at http://www.redcoon.es/redcoon/urwfilter/products_list/d...Price/%20/index.html . remember, i used redcoon for my plasma tv and the service was fantastic. they even accept c.o.d.  between carrefour, audiotronics and redcoon, you should be able to order the model you want online. by the way, in case you did not know, "ink jet" is "inyección de tinta" or "impresoras inyección" here. saludos, jer...
