Question for the guys out there,

Anyone have any good places to get men's suits? I have to buy a couple and am wondering if I could get a better price while in Spain. Here in NY it's about 250-300$ a suit.

I haven't seen suits at the Corte, but maybe I didn't look hard enough.

Thanks!

Michael

I hesitate to recommend Gran Via as being bargain central, but there were some shops in the Plz Callao area that looked half-way decent....if I drop another 20 pounds I might follow my own advice in November.

There's always C/Serrano for the non-budgetary challenged.

Mike, COrte has tons of suits, you did not look hard enough Roll Eyes

Suits here will run pretty much the same as in NY.

You can get nice ones during "rebajas" at many shops for under 200 Euros.

Here are just a few...

Cortefiel (Gran Via store has a mens dept.)
Zara (Some stores have a mens dept.)
Milano
Springfield

Saludos,

If you end up buying suits in NY, go to Century 21. They are the biz. Top names (Armani, Boss, Zegna etc) for $300-$500. Bear ion mind that these suits retail in other stores for 1K to 2K.

Yeah I've been there since I work across the street. I saw the suits buy usually size is a problem, as is color and some are pretty shoddy from being man-handled all the time. :jeje:

There is a Men's Wearhouse near there that has decent stuff.

Thanks!

How about Massimo Dutti? I love this chain for both men's and women's suits. It's a bit more upscale than Zara and has the same owner.

Check it out: www.massimodutti.com
