Hey guys! Does Madrid have any healthy food stores selling organic and/or natural products like Fresh Fields/Wild Oats/Whole Foods here in the States?

Aside from the In Madrid and Broadsheet you can find a pretty good listing of Yoga Classes, Vegetarian Restaurants and all things healthy in the free publication called "Verde Mente"
http://www.verdemente.com

I must recommend a good vegetarian restaurant run by the Hare Krishna. The food is good and the price is even better: 5 euros and surly you won't be able to finish everything on the plate. But they only serve food from Monday to Friday, from 3.15 to 16.00.
Worth visiting!!!
It is located in Calle Espíritu Santo, 19, near Tribunal or Noviciado Metro Station.

hey Mariams.

eeker a friend at there once... ONCE!!!

she hung her coat up on a rack. when she left after lunch her cell phone (was in her pocket) was gone.

i'm not pointing fingers but maybe that's how they can afford to do the all you can eat at 5 euros wink

Jer, I guess that's just bad luck. cry I've been there a few times and I didn't ever miss anything. And one of my cousins has been eating there for years and has never had any problems with it.
And it could happen anywhere (I don't get any commission from the restaurant, don't get me wrong!)where you let your belongings out of your sight.
eeker

nah nah

I second Salud Madrid!! The one on Ortega y Gasett is pretty darn big (though nothing quite compares to Whole Foods or Fresh Fields, sadly). But the staff are nice too and they offer a lot of different beauty products as well as food stuffs. yay tofu!
