Hey liz, how much are they asking for CONECTROL? Just curious as it must be a billion!!! Ok, been trying to get a location shot of that store on Cuchilleros/Cava de San Miguel but the http://fotos.qdq.com site has been down for days When it comes back online I will look for the storefront. Saludos, jer...

Hi, all!
I was looking for a party (on August, 2nd, as Jer and Ena told me last week),... and I find Liz coming back to Spain!!!
Conectrol looks like a good business. Jer is right when he thinks it might cost a billion. It is like "El Corte Ingls" for peripherals and computer related items: they have everything you may ask for, but some people consider that it can be a little bit expensive (the price you have to pay for not wandering around when you are shopping for a motherboard, or something of the kind).
My last English teacher, a nice American guy, was thinking of establishing a business in Madrid like you. I'll will try to find his e-mail address and pass it to you: it might be useful, at least for exchanging ideas.
Hope to see you and all the old folks in "multimadrid" soon (-> on Saturday, 2nd,... if I get to find the place and time of the meeting).

Hey Liz, I tried to get to "Calle deCava de San Miguel", 18 (where the shop I mentioned is but there is a major quirk in the QDQ site. It shows Cava de San Miguel n1 as the nearest address and then if you click on the map further down the street, it jumps to the "Calle de San Miguel" which is a hell of a jump since that street is NO WHERE near the center of Madrid. Problem is that the QDQ photos site continies to show it in the center on the map but the buildings are those of the Calle de San Miguel and not the "Calle de la Cava de San Miguel" So, the best view you are gonna get is the one at my ARCO DE LOS CUCHILLEROS PANORAMIC. The shop is on your right as you look up the Cava de San Miguel (to the left of the "Arco de Cuchilleros"). There are 2 tall red (closed) doors behind a tree. Saludos, jer...
