long shot i know but, anyone ever buy anything online via http://es.redcoon.com or their other country sites ( www.redcoon.com )?

if so, can you recommend them?

they seem to have the best price on the product i am looking for.

thanks in advance.

saludos,
jer...

I would be suspicious...I was looking at the Kenwood and Alpine Stereo systems that they have and 69 for a 12" Sub is damn cheap. You cant even get a 12" Blaupunkt sub for less than 129 in the stores. But, you never know...maybe they get some good deals. Let us know how it goes Jer...if it works out for you Im going to snag me a new stereo system for my cochecito.

hey Shiloh.

the site looks amazing, may be too good to be true.

as for pricing, same happened to me, the product i am looking to buy is 500-800 euros cheaper at redcoon than on other sites/in other stores i have seen it at. it is 800 less than the highest price i have seen and 500 less than the cheapest Mad

if it were only 100-200 euros lower at redcoon, i would not doubt them but the savings there seem too good to be true.

a HUGE savings so i was skeptical about the site but maybe it is just simply the best priced shop online?

gonna go look into their reputation for a while. will keep you updated here.

I guess one thing you could do is buy a cheaper product that maybe you dont necessarily need just to try it out. Spend 30 bucks or whatever you can afford to lose if its a scam...if its not a scam it looks like you come out winning by saving that much money.

He recibido la pantalla a travs de Seur, he podido ver antes la caja de pagar (a contrarreembolso, por si las moscas) y la tele es la misma que me venden en El Corte Ingls, pero casi 1.000 euros ms barata !!!.

Are you sure redcoon are cheap? They are astronomically expensive for mp3 players. Even the manufacturer websites are cheaper.

Have you considered buying from the UK? For some strange reason electronics are much cheaper there than in Spain, they are usually happy to send to Spain too. You need an adaptor for the plug, but it is the same voltage here as in Britain, the adaptor is for the shape of the pin, and you can get those for 2 in El Corte Ingls.

hey Cervantes, guess it depends on the product.

yes, i did searches in uk webshops for my product but they can't compete with redcoon either.

some of them are close on the retail price (maybe 200-300 more) but then they want a fortune for shipping to spain since the product i am buying is so big, making the purchase as expensive as the corte ingls Mad

hi all.

just wanted to post back and give my GLOWING THREE THUMBS UP IN Z FORMATION :jeje: recommendation for http://es.redcoon.com

my purchase was PERFECT from start to finish and i saved 800 euros on my new tv. granted, some items are not much cheaper (and maybe even more expensive) at redcoon but it worked for me BIGTIME and it is definitely worth checking for your item there when comparison shopping.

how it went down...

1) placed my order online on monday, nov. 15th (midday). i chose the c.o.d. method as it was my first purchase via redcoon and, as this thread shows, i was hesitant to order as the price was sooooo low on what i wanted to buy.

NOTE: redcoon does not even accept credit cards online so when one orders, they need to choose to pay either via bank wire or c.o.d. the c.o.d. option has a small additional fee (depending on the price of your order) which they inform you of before you send your order.

2) instantly after placing the order, i received an order confirmation and was told my item would ship within 48 hours and that i would receive a phone call the day before the item went out.

3) on tuesday, nov. 16th, a customer service rep. from redcoon spain called me to tell me that my item would be shipped on wednesday, nov. 17th for delivery on thursday, nov. 18th. they use SEUR (courier) for shipping and could not tell me the exact delivery time but they did tell me it would be in the morning (before 2pm).

4) on thursday morning at 10:00am i received a call from the courier asking me if i would be home around 11:00-11:30pm. i told him yes and he said he hoped to be here by 11:30am.

5) at 11:15am (same day) my doorbell rang and it was the courier with muy order. i accepted the merchandise, paid him in cash for the order total and he was on his way.

PERFECTION!!!

Shiloh, you can go ahead and order that woofer now Big Grin redcoon spain is actually based out of barcelona so you may get your order even faster than i did and mine arrived 3 days after ordering Cool

Also my 3 thumbs up here for redcoon!

Cool

I bought an mp3 player 256mb, for 49.99eur, from redcoon last week. Which I found to be much cheaper after doing some price comparing on the net.

I paid by transfer, then received a call a day later and the delivery in 2 days after the payment.

I also tested their chat service and this works quickly and it is helpful.
