I don't know their telephone number or web site address(Do you Jer?), but I bought a used, nearly new laptop for a steal of a price from a second hand chain shop in Madrid called
Bit & Web a few months back. Good service, good warranty, great prices! I've seen some vanilla PCs for as low as 20,000 pts. You can get something that is more than effective for most peoples' needs for under 50,000 pts.
As far as the speaking English thing, I don't know if they do or not. They don't tend to advertise that.
I don't know about Jer, but I could most certainly be hired for translation and negotiation services (aka- regateo
) for a cheap price. My rates start at 1-2 beers (ca�as are acceptable) which I see as being more than fair. Tapas may be required for a difficult negotiation process...
Just kidding. The people I dealt with gave me the impression of being guiri (foreigner)friendly.
