hey binkxy. the full/length mirrors at ikea are (or were the last time i looked) the cheapy plastic ones (plastic frame) and are very lightweight so metro should not be a problem. taxi would defeat the purpose of going to ikea as it would bring a 10 euro mirror up to 30 euros or more when you are done paying the cabbie and for 30 euros, you could find one here in the center (even at the corte inglés). ena and i go to ikea once every 6 months or so but have no plans to go until after the summer (sept). sorry can't be of more help saludos, jer...

First trip we made I was amzaded at what people hauled on the bus! Second trip we did the same. All this hot weather we almost bought an Air Conditioner 299 at media mart but decided that they wouldn't allow it the bus, sure enough the driver refused a guy trying to bring on a wall unit. Were back in Germany (much cooler daytime highs 25 to 30 80 to 85) next week for the rest of the summer. We're back end August when we move and then we'll have the car so if its still hot I'll buy the A/C unit!
