Hey Caroline, still the same scene today but the vendors have modernized a bit as they now sell pirate CDs (2 for 6 Euros  ). Still loads of clothes and other gadgets/accessories sold on the streets until the police cars do a slow drive by to scare the illegal vendors off. The sale of horchata is limited to the bars and caf�s these days however. One of the more interesting "markets" is on "Calle Preciados" between Callao and Puerta del Sol. Starts early evening on any given day and runs till very late during the warm months. You can stroll and look and buy and buy and buy Keep the memories coming! Saludos, jer...
