I've become a Madridista (a member of RealMadrid football club) to try to be able to get tickets for matches.... not an easy task!!
There are something called pena's (that should be an n with a hat, but my UK keyboard doesnt afford that kind of luxury - any tips anyone on typing in spanish from a UK keyboard???) which are basically groups (50+) of Madridista card holders who group together, and any matches you DONT want to go to, you offer the option of using your ability to buy a ticket to someone else.
Im finding out more about it currently, but in the meantime I want to find out a) if anyone else is interested in forming a pena b) suggestions of name for said pena c) if anyone is a member of another pena, which I could join instead of setting up another one.
If anyone has any good contacts for getting football tickets Id really appreciate it, I have people coming to visit me who want to watch matches, and I havent got a clue how to manage to get more than one!
And what about the Celta de Vigo, Deportivo, Atleti and Man City pe������������as, not to mention the tortilla, pincho moruno, callos, zarrajos and SIDRA como ningun Dios manda Pe���a, incorporating the mojito, caipirinha and weizenbeir pe���as, La virgen de las Sangrias, setas y La gloriosa pe�������a de MINGO. :cheers:

I thought at first I was reading something wrong. Now I just feel stupid that I didn't catch on to your obvious sense of humor!
Random thought: I was at a friend's house and there was a Real Madrid vs. Barca game on tv. I got all excited until I saw the score of Barca winning 2 to 0. Well, we watched Sex in the City and I wanted to see the final score of the game. When they went back to the game it was on their damn Play Station. It was not a footie game, but a firckin' video game!!!!!!!! I was pissed and felt really stupid.
