Er, I'm guessing the comfy hoody+jeans+flip-flops look isn't too popular in Madrid? Rats. I was a kid the last time I was in Spain, but I'm 15 now, and am curious about what's more popular amongst teenage clothing? They have H&Ms in Madrid? That's awesome. There's a Zara in a mall not too far away from me, I'll probably go look around in it next time I'm at that mall. I used to live really close to La Vaguada. I thought it was a pretty cool mall- it never ceased to amuse me that there was a grocery store in it (Alcampo).

So what do those fashionable Madrilenas wear this fall? Whats in this season? Also can anybody recommend a good shoe shopping area? The best place I found so far is a shoe store row on c/Figueroa in Chueca (I think?). I'm not interested in Zara or Mango types of big chains for shoes. THANKOO!

hey Jarbacky. the zone a bono is not good for getafe. i do not know how much a ticket would cost but i am pretty sure it costs the same as other suburbs like san sebastian de los reyes and last time i went on a bus it was 1.65 euros (each way). it was one of the green, interurban busses. the stores in madrid (getafe included) are only allowed to open the first sunday of every month which was last sunday. it is not that they do not want to open but this is in accordance with the commerce law here. saludos, jer...

all i know is what i see... http://www.factory.es/calendario.asp?id=26the laws relax a bit during the holiday times and the summer but in general, they stick to their guns. as for the corte, fnac, etc..., i think the law excludes what they call "grandes superficies" (large surface stores, the department stores for example). stores like ikea, alcampo & carrefour also would be able to open. since the factory outlets are a conjunction of small shops, they probably can not get around the law. i am not positive about this, can anyone confirm? oh and if you are wondering how to get to the getafe factory stores, see http://www.factory.es/como_llegar.asp?id=26 saludos, jer...
