The J & J Bookshop / Coffee shop at Espiritu Santo, 47 (Metro: Noviciado) was nice. Upstairs you have the coffee shop with a bar and a few tables where you can sit and talk while you enjoy your drink and downstairs you have a nice selection of books to browse through and pick from. The floors have carpets, so you can sit down and read through a pile of books until you find the ones you would like to take with you. You can either buy the books you like or trade in three books for the one you like. They will also soon have open mic nights with Poetry readings, game nights with group participation and board games, etc. All in all it was a good time with several multimadrid members getting together and talking about present and future plans and being supportive going into the holiday season. "nice"? "nice"?  THE PLACE IS AWESOME!!!  :cheers: Move over "IBS", there is a new kid in town!!!  Not what I expected but much more. A lot bigger than I thought it would be as well. Rocco pretty much describes it above but I will add that there are various food items to pick as well as those great 1� ca�as, THANK GOD THEY SERVE MAHOU AND NOT CRUZCRAPPO  See www.jjbac.com/menu.html for the menu. Had a few ca�as and a pizza myself (which was pretty yummy for a frozen) since I had not had dinner yet. All in all, everything is very reasonably priced. Jamie and Javi are very cool and the nicest peeps one could want to meet  Well, it was great to meet Liz and Ged, even if they had to leave early. Nice to meet "danny" (Daniela Rubia) as well. Cool seeing the mm regulars again, always is. We were... jer. rocco. candy. desha. liz & ged. melinda. joy. danny. and of course , could not escape even if they wanted to :jeje: Sorry if I missed anyone. We will surely be having more than a few multimadrid game nights & other winter activities at J&JSaludos, jer... p.d. Jamie & Javi, very cool of you to invite the multimadrid crew to the free coffee and cake.
