I believe it was both Groucho Marx and Woody Allen who used it successfully when they said: I do not want to be a part of any club that would have me as a member. In this case, I am not actually that shallow, but I do feel there needs to be an overall connection with a person to make things interesting and work. I feel that we all pretty much want the same things, but want it from different people that offer it to us. I want to meet a Spanish girl who likes English and all things American who I connect with who can show me around Madrid and / or the rest of Spain and help me get more involved in the culture. Simple, but yet difficult to find.

Chica. Some new fella named Brian who meets this description for your student above stopped by the office today to sign up for the BBQ. I hope he brings in the single women and then shares them with the rest of us single guys and does not hog them all for himself.

Pretty Cool news lately. Both the multimadrid group which has several get togethers and Barbeques for socializing and Sports events like volleyball on Sundays at the Retiro 4:30pm and the Language Exchange / intercambio group which meets every Tuesdy night at O'Neils pub and a few other places on the weekends and play Football/Soccer at the Retiro Park on Sundays at 6pm are having a lot of succeful crossovers who are having a good time. Many multimadrid members are attending some of the intercambios and finding language exchange partners and a few of the other group members are signing up to the message board. Also a lot of people myself included come out to the Retiro Park on Sundays and play volleyball first and then switch over to Football/Soccer when volleyball is over. Right now this is big time fun and I hope it lasts. Rocco.

At what time do you meet at Oneils? I won't go this Tuesday but probably the next one. Also the football thing looks interesting, although I would feel guilty to play football without having go yet to the voleyball game any Sunday
