"The reason I talk to myself is that I'm the only one who's answers I accept."

Nice try Jer. You knew that we always got the two days off from school so we could have the big family get together dinner on Thursdays. Plus I never said that thanksgiving was on the 28th. I only chose the Sunday afternoon slot we use for sports and gatherings to schedule an event. If you look at my other posts about stuff for this month you will see that I mention November as turkey / thanksgiving month. You see Canada also celebrates it on a different date. So this begs the question... What day is turkey day in Turkey? Anyway, Chamartin is on metro line 10 not 8. See you there on the 27th.

Okay. This is just to revive the thread and remind everyone that we will be meeting at Chamartin on Nov. 27th at 7pm for bowling. Bonnie / Nanny and friends will be in town as well and will either join us there or possibly after for drinks.

Okay. Bowling is set for 7pm Saturday Nov. 27th at the bowling alley upstairs at Chamartin metro / cercania station. So far it looks like there will be a good group of people of all skills and experience levels. See you there.

Yes. I am feeling a little on the cooky side. I think it is the elation from all of the 'Free Acts of Random Tenderness' I have been doing lately. The more FARTs the better I feel. See you at the bowling lanes. ps. I will be handing out some www.jointogether.org.net smiley face FART stickers, but supplies are limited so be on time.

Stuck in UK so will be bowling nothing but work and bills. Having said that, there has been a group of weird people outside my local chemists all week handing out free doughnuts and smiling strangely. Have you gone international!!! Karenanne

Sure. Free doughnuts. Why not? They were part of my Free Acts of Random Tenderness. Hearing about this FART taking place near you brings a tear to my eye. I did not think that my FARTs would reach you way over there. Sorry if my FARTs interrupted your schedule or bothered you, though. I mean, I have had complaints about some of my FARTs before, but like I always say in my own defence, my FARTs don't stink. Now back to the topic at hand. I just called the bowling alley and they do not allow reservations. Instead they work on a first come, first serve basis. If lanes are open when we get there we get started right away. If not, we get on the waiting list, we have a few drinks in the meanwhile and we get started as soon as are number is up.

Okay. Bowling went well even though the place was overcrowded and there were a few no shows. Next time to make things smoother we will need to be there on time and sign up on this message board letting us know your shoe size so that we can make a list of the first 2 to 8 people and get them started on a lane and / or get on the waiting list. p.s.: cervantes. I think you can find the gremlin of someone milking a cow listed right after the one of someone kissing my ass.

"the man!"

hey Rocco, bowling was a blast!!! thanks for organizing  we really only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a lane once we handed in our list which was good for a sat. night as far as i'm concerned. i do not think it is necessary for people to rsvp on the BOWLING THREAD (best for people to just come if they feel like it) but do agree however that next time people should show up on-time. of course, if you know you are DEFINITELY coming bowling, then give your name and shoe size (in spanish or course, example: 11.5 US = 45-46 spain). Rocco, let me know when i should close this topic and redirect to the normal BOWLING THREAD which i assume is where we will be updating on bowling nights. saludos, jer...
