The Spanish Language Meetup was great. I am enjoying getting out of my piso and not watching TV. I'm getting back into the art of reading and hanging out with friends here in Madrid. Life is wonderful when you meet new people and share a common interest. Shawn

:jeje: Jer, I don't get that  , why would I regret missing a TGI Friday's dinner? Give me a tapas dinner, Oriental food....or sloppyJoes anytime, ha, ha! I'm glad Ena enjoyed herself like an 'ENAna' though....  But did she end up being the only Spaniard (besides yourself Jerito  ) with which everyone had to practise? P.S.: I had told Adrian it looked like mmers could maybe do a better job at organizing this sort of things than a "worldwide-virtual-cyber-organization"  |

Hey pim, sorry but I could have sworn reading on an older thread that you enjoy taking your niece Chloe (sp?) to Fridays, maybe I have you confused with somebody else No, if you read my post above, you will see that "Ernesto" from the "Spanish Lang. Meetup" website was there as well as was Lena (nearly Spanish  ). With Ena thrown in, that made almost half of the atendees native Spanish speakers Saludos, jer...
