OK, I don't want to seem unsupportive, really, I just was you know, doubting you can get a team together in a sustainable manner, which is completely different. :b: Lucy can't go she needs her energy for something else, and no Sunny, she doesn't need it for you, if that is what you were going to suggest.

quote: And there's a male team who will help too (don't you loooove those bodies?? :l: ).
i just knew there was an alterior motive behind the formation of this water polo team. holaaa..., you just lost all credibility and in one fell swoop you converted a healthy, innocent athletic idea into sweaty, smutty lust-filled perversion :jeje: :jeje: :jeje: as for being able to form a team or not, i think you gals should make a bet with the doubting fabrizio. if he wins, you all have to tatoo his face on your buts and if you win he has to chearlead poolside in nothing but a g-string during every practice session and game ok, i think i went too far there!!! :jeje: saludos, jer...

Sounds fun. I can try it out! However, I really don't know about sked since I am already in a small team in another sport which loosely practices about twice a week. But am willing to try it. Who knows?? Maybe the male bodies there are more, let's say, convincing

Hey, Tin, Becky!! The club's web page is www.vand03.tk. We probably will train three times a week: monday, wednesday and thursday, but I also play basketball and I can't go to all of them, and that's no problem, Tin. The swimming pool is in Barrio del Pilar, calle Monforte de Lemos, near 'La Vaguada'. Hope you are interested!! Fabrizio, you better go and buy the g-string just in case!! :jeje:

Nah, I still have the same opinion on the matter... I just think you all don't realize how much effort you have to put in the water to play this sport. We will see how many people actually go repetedly. All you have agreed to so far as a team is that you like swimers bodies, and that if you go, there might be some close by...

So, besides being unsupportive you think we are hmm how to put this, eh brainless enough to think its an easy sport Girls, we have to come up with a very good bet!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, correct me if Im wrong, but none of us say anything about there might be some close by...

jejejeje, let's play nice now. holaaa..., i looked a few times and there is nothing at that website http://www.vand03.tk it seems to try to forward to a page in the upm site but never opens. ok, while i think the idea for the team is great and am behind you ladies 100%, i have to agree with fabrizio on the difficulty of the sport. i have some (although limited) experience in this sport so would like to put in my 2 cents. first, i did not know that most of the gals interested had never played but that is what it seems like. do you ladies know that in water polo your feet do not touch the pool bottom and you can not hold onto the sides of the pool for support. then again, i do not know how serious a league this is so they may have more lax rules for beginners. i also do not know what shape you ladies are in physically and cardio-vascularly but YOU HAVE TO BE IN PEAK SHAPE to play this sport. instead of training "monday, wednesday and thursday", you should always skip 1 say between training sessions as the toll it takes on the body will make it impossible to train 2 days in a row (especially if you are beginners). also, keep in mind that, with other activities people have going on in their lives (work, other sports, drinking :jeje: , etc...), training 3 times a week will be hard. in water polo (more so than in many other sports), it is VERY IMPORTANT for the whole team to be at practice during every session and getting a consistent 3x a week practice with everyone will be very difficult. you may want to make it twice a week, mon/wed or tues/thurs. in my opinion, water polo is one of the most physically demanding sports around. i'm sure you will enjoy it but to make it work well, you have to really put a lot of time and dedication in, especially if you are going to play against other teams, are you holaaa...? saludos, jer...

Thanks jer for pointing out the requirements of the sport. I thought I was going to be Roccoified... I didn't want to seem unsupportive, all I am trying to do is be realistic about this, and of course that sounds pesismistic in this case. Hey if you guys need some support I'll be the first one there. I can be in charge of making sure the Gatorade cooler is full, you know, the one by the women's locker room... P.S. A pesismit is a well informed optimist...
