Hey mm'ers!
I have a great idea. Here in the ole US of A, folks are already getting spookified in time for Halloween. So it set me to thinking...there are so many posts on the board about getting together, parties, etc,...why not plan one heck of a Halloween Party, mm-style? Costumes (fancy dress to the English), spooky decorations, ghoulish snacks, mysterious smoking drinks, apple bobbing, more mysterious smoking drinks, costume contest, etc.
October 31 is a Friday, a perfect party night.
Post here if you want to come and what you'll dress up as.
When I arrive in Madrid on the 6th, I will suss out a location (suggestions welcome) and organize the details.
In the meantime, I miss you all. Can't wait to be back in Madrid.

Well, I can get my costume ready for this super party! Since many of us are missing and probably will be bringing the candy, the M&Ms, pumpkin cakes and so on to make it more real. I think we should go to a safe neighborhood so we can do the trick or treat!!

okay I picked up orange and black m&ms and sweeties today, plus plastic pumpkin candy holders and witches hats.
anyone else who is stateside but going to madrid pre-party, it would be divine if you brought some candy too. I can only hold so much in my luggage, plus with the 6 new pairs of shoes I bought since I have been in Detroit, I am running short on space.
I am starting to think of ideas for place, will explore options when I arrive.

I can�t gooooo... I�m going to a CD signing in the afternoon and three of my friends from Ourense are going to stop here for a bit on their way back from Granada so I�m having lunch with them afterwards. And Mercedes is on this whole "I wanna celebrate halloween" kick so I�m going to throw a little halloween party for the kids in our building. We made ghosties tonight and hung them up all over the house. Mommy�s gonna be soooooo excited when she gets home (read that sarcastically). Tomorrow we make pumpkins

If she did, she has gone missing in Madrid.
So, at this late date (just 1 week to go before Halloweeny) and no confirmation nor info on the Halloween party from organizer Candeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllaaaaaaaaaa, I am afraid Ena and I will have to take a "ghouls check" since we have not gotten any costumes together yet.
Hopefully Candeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllaaaaaaaaaaa will let us know about the party before this weekend.
