Ok, not sure how I missed that footy is now One Block from my apartment, but... :b: Can't do wednesdays, but will definitely be there next saturday, weather permitting!

Just to remind everyone Football "Sala" (it's not indoor, but it's 5-a-side) is still on every Wednesday from 8pm - 10pm and every Saturday from 2pm - 4pm. It's in the same location, Centro Communitario Casino de la Reina which is on the corner of Calle del Casino and Calle Embajadores in Lavapi�s. Nearest metro's are Lavapi�s or Embajadores on Line 3, La Latina on Line 5 and Tirso de Molina on Line 1. Remember it's FREE. Last Saturday we had a pretty poor showing only 6 people turned up which is a shame as some people have gone to a lot of trouble to organise this and if we can't maintain the numbers we might lose the use of the facility. So please come along and support if you can. :cheers:

how is that possible if it is free? if it is first come first serve and if there is another group there that wants to take it from ya, can't you join forces and play together? i hope to be there this sat. but can't promise i will be a regular. since nobody showed at the sunday afternoon retiro soccer last week, it looks as if your footy is the only game in town these days. saludos, jer...

NOTE: If you are squeamish skip this message. I just lost my left big toenail :y: (those day-long dance sessions at Space finally caught up with me!) and am out for soccer this week. Went to the Dr. and everything's fine; it just has to toughen up a bit before I can whack it with a soccer ball. I'm sooo bummed because it's sooo convenient...hope to get there very soon. J.

Saweeem Bala bala bala saweeem bala.... Seeing as we are getting in the Ferris Buellers Day off quotes Sorry I haven't replied Jer, been a tad busy. Anyway, we had a good game last week, 12 people turned up and they even managed to split Lee, Mike and myself up. There was a match on Wednesday as well, but only 8 people turned, cold weather I suppose, I didn't go along either, I'm ashamed to say, but did have an excuse. We'll all be there tomorrow, same time, same place, see you there. :cheers:

Just a reminder, Football will be on this Wednesday at 8pm, same place as usual. We will probably only play until 9.15pm and then go and catch the end of the Real Madrid v Juventus match in the excellent Tapas bar next to the pitch :cheers:

Jer, If everyone turns up a punto at 8pm, we'll get over an hour of football in and then go and watch a great game hopefully, whilst drinking lots of beer and eating free tapas! :cheers:

ok, i have office hours until 7 and will hustle home, change and head down there. should be there before 8. well, i am not a fan of watching footy on the tube but AM a big tapas fan (and an even bigger FREE tapas fan  :s: ) so i will chill after the game, have some beers and try not to look at the tv  saludos, jer...
