Not quite sure if I get the meaning of your post. My interpretation is that you are suggesting that I want to be like multimadrid, which is not the case.  The madridchicas dining group is a replication of one that I organized on a monthly basis in Philadelphia. Not a replication of any multimadrid get togethers!

hmmmm.... big old misinterpretation on your part Chica. i did not think i would have to explain this since it is a very old concept but here goes... the glass half full or half empty concept refers to pessimistic vs optimistic views. so, what i was trying to do was tell you to be more optimistic since it really does not matter where the peeps come from, the important thing is that we get together and have a good time :cheers: i will try to be more direct next time but don't be so defensive. saluodos, jer... p.d. sunny, since your post makes less sense than mine did, i will simply say that i see your 道可道非常道 名可名非常名 ... and raise you a !!!!!! !!!!!!

Just wanted to let you all know that the dinner was an absolute success with 23 folks dining with us last night! For the record, we were nearly 50/50 with 12 women and 11 men. Apart from the mexican food in La Taquer�a de Birra, we enjoyed a birthday celebration (Happy b�day El�as! It�s about time you caught up!), and a drink or two in the hot (interpret it as you wish) Pez Gordo. At that point, 1AM, �ngel and I called it a night although I know that the party continued on... So, details details... where did you go and what did you do guys? Oh, the pictures, by the way, have been uploaded for anyone who would like to see them!

jer's grapevine is absolutely correct as we are currently in negotiations with Jill to have the dinner at one of her two fabulous restaurants, and that is his source . The dinner is tentatively scheduled for Saturday Nov. 13th. Stay tuned here for further updates and details!
