Hello everyone, thanks for such positive feedback about our quiz - it went really well last week, with a healthy number of multimadriders present: we ended up with 40 people there, all very sociable expats (and suitably competitive and argumentative, which is always good!). The prizes are...free drinks for the winning team and half the kitty, free t-shirts/chocolates at the end of each round for bonus questions, and even a free bottle of wine for the team with the least points too... good value all round, plus any teacher who comes can ask for a copy of the questions emailed to them to use in class: it´s a quality evening out, lots of silliness and all in aid of charity too! Just to remind you, it´s at Moores pub (next to metro Tribunal) at 9:30 pm this Monday - hope to see you all down there, all the best, Scooter

Hello everyone, thanks very much to the multimadriders who came down last Monday to support us - it was a really good night all round and it´s good to see what some of you actually look like... well, it´s on again this Monday (9:30pm, Moores pub, just outside metro Tribunal) so if you want to know the answers to such questions as...
What does a hippophobe fear?
What is your philtrum?
What is the maximimum speed of a housecat?
...and the like, then you should come and join us - it´s not too serious, it´s very sociable and proceeds go to charity, and there´s some good prizes, including this week, our sponsor promises us, a bottle of vodka, plus all the usual t-shirt, free drinks for the winners and free bottle of wine for the team with the least points - hope to see you there, Scooter

Wouldn't miss it for the world.  I'll be there with some nibbles for my "lucky" team-mates and the quiz masters. All I ask of my fellow mm´ers is that if at 2am you see me ordering yet another pint and talking gibberish to please push me into the nearest taxi. I (and my boss) will appreciate the following morning  PUB QUIZ. TONIGHT (AND EVERY MONDAY). MOORES -TRIBUNAL. 2 EUROS. GREAT FUN.

Quiz boffin/Morrissey returned which meant a 3rd consecutive multimadrid victory was snatched from our hands. I blame it on the lack of Iced Gems and Monster Munch as well as English Pilot’s absence - where were you? we were just points off the free drink!! I believe next week is the last quiz until the autumn  (scooter will confirm or deny as my recollection of the night’s events is a little hazy) so last chance to join in the fun and make some money for charity.

Sorry I wasn't there last week Sooooze, I was getting over a particularly bad dose of food poisoning, when will I learn not to eat things with Mayonnaise in them in this weather! I'll definately be there tonight and as long as I haven't killed too many of my brain cells on my trip to Amsterdam over the weekend, I'll be raring to go and help us re-take the title! Don't dare desert us and go over to Morrisey, we need you for those all important Heat/Hello type questions!
I spend most of my money on beer and women, the rest I just waste.

Well done Scooter and Pete for organising a great Pub quiz, shame we have to wait until September for the next one. And a victorious night for "The Monster Munch Bunch", reigning quiz champions for the summer, with our 3rd win in 4 weeks (would have been 4 if I hadn't have been ill last week, modest I know)despite the plethora of American questions in the quiz for the obvious benefit of the table of American girls taking part, I think the quiz masters had an ulterior motive there

Congratulations scooter and Pete on your superb quiz night and even better post quiz gatherings.  Monday nights wont be the same without it (no hangover on Tuesday - my body wont know what's happened to it!) Roll on September!
