Quiz night tonight people

To those who have nothing to do on a Monday evening and would like to meet new people, have a couple of beers and answer a few questions: join us.

To those you came last week and enjoyed: come along for a second helping.

And to those who always come: see you there.

Place: Moores Pub
Metro: Tribunal
Kick-off: 21.30 (ish)

I second that emotion - great fun. Only one request: can we start earlier (ie. 9.30) . . . us old b*gg*rs can't keep up with the likes of Sooooze.

xx

A big thankyou to everyone for all coming down last night: we had a really full house - superb effort all round, and a really enjoyable evening. Kudos to Rob (Englishpilot) for bringing his folks down and to all his team for a)winning, and b)giving their winnings straight to the charity

Will try to start a bit more on time, but trying to get everyone there at the right place and the right time is like trying to herd monkeys smiler

Oh dear, looks like it could be an early bath for two of the mmBs . . . family and work are making it look unlikely we'll be able to continue our winning streak. Guest appearances are not ruled out (and Soooze has our mobile for those vital text messages).

No more quiz cry

Ooops, almost forgot our obligatory weekly plug for our charity pub quiz (Jer has been deeply tolerant on this one... smiler)

We did very well last week, it was hard to fit everyone in: very sociable and lots of new faces - hope you can all make it down this week too.

Just a reminder, it´s at Moores irish pub, just outside metro Tribunal at 9:30pm, come down, meet some new people, raise a little cash for charity, and get the best excuse you´ll find for a Monday night booze you´ll get all year! brews

OK, as far as pirate talk, lets just say the evening was major ass-munch. But I did meet as I was leaving one piece of majorly ass-tale. More on the matter tomorrow as things pan out!!!

I guess you could call it that.

I am still trying to get a full recap from yesterday set of events off of my head:

1. I payed the tab at moore's, got negged from fellow multimadrider J75 upon approach...

2. Went to some other bar.

3. Girl approached me as I was waiting at traffic light. Hum strange. (I am guessing this number I have in my pocket won't work...)

I think I made a fool of myself on at least 3 of these events...

Great quiz last night. Congrats to all involved. wish there hadn't been that question asking the names of the barmen tho - that could only have been to advantage of regulars like Englishpilot. Still deserved their win tho.
1st time I 've been to this event. If I return to Madrid I'll make tracks to turn up again. Well done all.

Hoping for a record turnout this week: got a more than a decent amount of people last week, hoping for even more tonight.
Just in case anyone´s been living in a cave for the last month of my plugging, it´s at Moores Irish pub, just outside metro Tribunal, at 9:30pm: very sociable, all for charity, and lots of fun, hope to see loads of you all down there tonight, Scooter smiler

The MMB's will be there again to defend our title, with a couple of new additions to the team!

See you later

Rob.
