Hey TJGuy, yes, as Paul said, many Spain related sites like mine are
TIENDA.COM affiliates.
I never participated in affiliate programs but they are one that I gave a shot and I make a decent amt. of $$$ off them (and since I get 10% of the order total, that must mean they are swimmin in $$$).
You will see
TIENDA.COM links, banners and button ads on my site, for example the banner at page top on my
MY FOOD FORUMOnly problem is that since TJGuy already ordered from
TIENDA, they have him "cookied" as a normal entry to their site. For me to get the commission now he has to...
1) Go to his internet browser.
2) Select "tools" --> "Internet Options".
3) Click the "Delete Cookies" option in the first "General" settings.
4) Come back to my site and click a Tienda link or banner which will take him to
http://fineproductsfromspain.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=jer and redirect him to the TIENDA home page.
Only that way will he get a new "cookie" on his machine telling
TIENDA.COM that he has come from my site.
Also, anyone who clicks throught to
TIENDA.COM from multimadrid has to do the above 1)-4) every 6 months since the TIENDA cookie expires after that time.
Paul, thanks for the heads-up and for looking out for multimadrid
Saludos,
jer...
