an Irish joke for you all... A Dublin radio station was running a contest for its listeners. The challenge was to call in with a new word in English and then use it in a sentence. Announcer: We have a caller. Ok caller, tell us your word. Caller: My word is "goan". Announcer: "Goan? How do you use that in a sentence?" Caller: "Goan f**k yourself!" The announcer immediately hung up on the caller. A few minutes later another called in. Announcer: "OK, we have another caller. What's your word?" Caller: "My word is itsmee." Announcer: "Sounds like a winner folks! How would you use it in a sentence?" Caller: "Itsmee again. Goan f**k yourself!" :jeje: :jeje:

I didn't sleep through it, we were all on our way, when my mother-in-law became ill  She really gave us a scare. So we had to get her checked out. The evening was cancelled for us. I hope to play some footy with some of you over the weekend. Hope everyone had fun. |

Question #1 = Lager was a "mini" that was the only beer on sale at the Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida fiesta. Question #2 = Fruited Plain is play on words for America. Lastly, I regretted not going along to the boozer St. Paddy's Day, but my Suegra, who was to attend with us, fell ill. Good news is she is better, but not up to any pints any time soon. I would love to buy a round for you lot while I am here. Maybe I will go to the mm hangout this Friday (Manhattan Martini Bar). |
