since the spot is not very easy to find, i offer myself up to meet anyone between 5:30 and 5:45 at the puerta de alcala entrance (main entrance) to the retiro. will be there during those 15 minutes waving the wiffle bat (in a non-threatening manner ) in case anyone wants to be taken over to the spot. i will wait until 5:45pm and then head over to the spot.
call me on 656266844 if you get lost.
see you all then!
saludos, jer...
p.d. it will surely be a hot one so everyone should bring their own beer/softdrink/water supply.
hmmmmmmmmmm..., due to the lack of activity/response/interest on this thread, i have featured it accross the board (i suppose you have no problem with that now eh Fab ).
so, should we cancel this or are people going to make it?
I will be there and do not think that we should cancel it if there is poor turn out, only bring baseball gloves and frisbees as a back up.
Last time we had a lot of English Pilot and Dom / Adrian's (from football sala) friends to make up the teams. There were at leat 6 American girls there that were their room mates or friends as well as another 4 or 5 British guys.
Rather than cancel lets just show up and see what happens.

I would love to go, but can't make the 25th as I'm going to the Metro Rock concert on the same day, now if it was the Sunday instead, then I'd be up for it.
Oh well, next time.
I spend most of my money on beer and women, the rest I just waste.
I agree with Rocco, lets just show up and see. I can think of a few things to do with the beer if no one shows up...
Yes jer, at the expense of every other post on your board, I am happy this time, my thread was featured
Don't you know people from the TEFL schools? Let them know, I am sure they wouldn't mind playing wiffleball if they new there was a game going on Saturday...

I had a goodtime at volleyball last week. Couldn't make it this week cause I was in the canary islands (I know, it's very sad). I WILL be there to play wiffle ball if it's going on .

There will be a game don't worry, there is actually quite a few amount of people that have confirmed with me but haven't posted here because they don't like jer.
Well, they didn't specifically say that, but I am assuming it

Not to be a major whinger, but is this game going to be involving running, or is like volleyball where we can stand in one place and deal with the ball if it comes to us? If running is going to take place I'll need to see if an Aquarius/Gatorade truck can be brought into the park with me.
No really, I've got a friend visiting this weekend from a'dam, but I'll try to make it. I trust if I can get her to come along Rocco will be on his best behaviour?
