Cervantes, I might be up for the The Divine Comedy gig. Ill see how I am for pelas after paying out all those nasty monthly bills. Ash are in concert next Friday, the 12th. Tickets cost 20 euros. A must-see Id say, plus you dont have to get up early for school the next morning.

Sort of off topic and I apologise! But I took Cervantes advice, looked on the website of El Corte Ingles and have managed to book tickets, through their website, to see Van the Man in Benidorm in December. My question is, I have a confirmation note via email from El Corte Ingles saying I have bought the tickets, and the money has already been taken from my account . Would anyone know if I now have to go convert my email receipt into actual tickets when I come into Madrid?

hey madsue, i have done what you did and all you need to do is go to the corte ingls with your reciept and pick the tix up. try the one in puerta del sol. on the very top floor of the electronics/cds/dvds/etc... building they have a ticket office. aside from the receipt that you printed out (right?), bring the credit card you bought them with just in case. saludos, jer...

Over the next few months Ill be going to the following concerts: Interpol Astrud Keane Fangoria The Czars Budapest Low Wilco (possibly) REM in Zaragoza (possibly) If anyone likes these groups and finds themselves in the same predicament as I was a few months ago, ie. having nobody to go to a concert with, feel free to join me and a few others on the magical trip to live music land. Having said that, I am friendless for the Keane concert  So, if anyone has a ticket (its sold out) lets meet up and go together!

English Pilot - Already got my ticket for the FF gig. Go and get yourself one, then I wont have to go alone. The Garbage concert sounds very enticing indeed. I'll have a think about it. Ok, I'm sold. I'll get my ticket this weekend. MadridRock at the end of June sounds like fun. Beck (!!), Morcheeba and some good Spanish bands - La Buena Vida, La Habitación Roja, The Sunday Driver, Nacho Vegas.....All of this for just 25 euros!!
