thanks Chica. Chris mentioned that you gals were in for the dinner when i had lunch there last weekend. thanks for the offer but no need to call, i know Chris well as he always took care of us when we used to go to bangkok and ena, lync and i have been going there once or twice a week since he opened phuket  in fact, i will see him tomorrow or sunday for our weekend lunch  phuket has a 9.50 menu del día that they serve day and night and on weekends too and it is great and plenty of food so 22 a head must have included lots of booze? i sent him a group of 40+ american students the other night for dinner so hopefully he will hook us up. saludos, jer...

Thanks Megan... I hate to do it but.. yes I would like very much to introduce my daughters to tapas, and the only good way to do it is with a big crowd like us. This way they can enjoy the variety of the tapas,and maybe find something they like. Phuket seems to be a nice place to go, I'll be happy to go any other night, my girls will be here till the 23.4. Megan, Just yesterday night I passed by this tiny diner place, Peggy Sue's, and note myself it would be a nice place to take the girl for non spanish food. It's down the steet of my home. Nava

ok gang. i'm gonna step back on this one and let someone else do the ressie since i have a lot going on. i will say however that if you want tapas, los angeles is the best place for a large group but call at least 1 week ahead (10 days even better) for a friday night ressie. someone else will have to do the ordering and cash collecting too as i will be on lync duty with ena we will be there no matter where it ends up being  saludos, jer...

Ooof, what a relief! So glad to see it's all taken care of, the money collecting, the ordering, the breasts, etc. Only thing I'm capable of taking on is German sausage and a pitcher of beer. Looking forward to it (and to Phuket soon as well) see you all soon! Lena

hey Nava. not to fear, they know me well (even though it has been a while since i was last there). they always say they need the tables for a later seating but we always end up staying later than the "get out time". when i arrive i will try and have a word with the waiters. then again, it is a friday and that is a disadvantage since we usually have the gatherings on a weekday when they do not need to toss us. at any rate, 2hrs and 45 min (3 hours if you stretch it till 12) is a good amt. of time for the get together. i for three will not be there that long. the reines-díaz family will have to leave before then. will see. saludos, jer... p.d. sue, you will be missed.
