ok, time to start putting some mileage on the new "chatometer" peeps!

the new board software has a kick-ass chat program built in.

i have set up 3 chatrooms...

1) general spain chat in english.
2) chatear en español.
3) members weekly chat.

the first 2 are open-ended and people can use them whenever they want.

anyone can pop in but only board members can participate. if one is not a member and goes into the chatroom, they will only be able to watch what is going on.

the 3rd one is a scheduled chat (kinda like our old sunday night chats) and is currently set for every wed. AND sunday night at 8pm madrid time. this one is multimadrid members only. i am willing to change the night if people want me to but for now we will start it in wed. & sun.
so, tonight is the first one!!!

how to enter the chatrooms:

there are 2 ways...

1) from the main forum page at http://spaintalk.multimadrid.org/eve/forums , click the menu "Go" button and then go to the "spain chatrooms" option on the dropdown menu and click the specific chatroom you want to open when the 3 options appear at right.

or

2) go to http://spaintalk.multimadrid.org/eve/chat and just click the room you want to enter. you can get to that page easily by clicking the "spain chatrooms" link on the COMMUNITY HOMEPAGE.

either way you go in, the chatroom will open in a new window. if you are asked for a name, use your boardname. next time you login to the chatroom it will remember you.

see you all tonight at 8pm madrid time (one hour less in canaries ) in the "members weekly chat"..

p.d. the board software allows for only 20 chatters at once on my current license but i am pretty sure there will not be that many of us at once so it should be cool.
