Short notice I know, but I am flying via Madrid on Monday 14th July on my way to UK.
I should have some time in the centre, if there is anyone around to have lunch with? I would hate to be wandering around and then see friends, and hadn't told anyone!!!
Flight lands at 12.15, put luggage in leftluggage, get Metro - should easily be at Sol by 2.00? Would have, what, an hour and a half before trekking back? Next flight leaves at 1800!

i am on baby lync duty on mon. morning since ena has to take her mom someplace and i do not know what time she will finish so either just lync and i or lync, ena and i will join ya at 2.
sorry i'll miss you madsue! i am living with the family out in the burbs so it will be tough for me to get into town. i am just learnign how to drive my stroller (uh, pram for you) and don't trust myself on the trains yet.

i am pretty sure it will be "lavapies shapla". i know you know it well as it is your fave.
so, as long as madsue has no objections to indian cuisine and she is in sol by 2pm, i am guessing 2:15ish at the terraza of the restaurant. that will give us over an hour for lunch before sue has to head back to the airport.
Would be lovely to see you too mariposita, and of course I understand candy, next time eh. Just wish I had more time in madrid but I am flying out to BRS to spend a month being a middle aged hippy and going round a load of festivals
Indian sounds great to me, I have no idea what to order, so will need your help in that!
So jer, seeing as I have no idea where we're going is it still best for me to come to Sol, or should I go on to Lavapies? I don't really want to get lost!!!
