Hi all,
El Hombre Moderno, a cool restaurant, bar, and dance spot, will be hosting the celebration of a film premier on Friday night. If you're interested in people involved in film and documentaries, the place should be full of 'em. The bar is very cool, with great creative tapas and a bar upstairs, and a dance floor and DJ downstairs. Drinks 4.50 cocktails and 2E beer and wine. Free entry. Ramón and I will be DJing.

Just wanted to put in a good word for Hombre Moderno. When I was there for Candy's goodbye party I was really impressed with the great two-level layout. Something for everyone. Too noisy/smoky downstairs? Head upstairs for comfy couches and better ventilation. Too quiet upstairs. Head downstairs for great dance music more thanks to the combination of DJs Ramón and Zelda.
They'll be tasty tapas as well so you won't go hungry and the drinks are 4.50 for cocktails and 2 for beer so you won't go broke.

Jer, can we make a change in the name of this post to reflect: CHANGE - Party...etc?
For reasons out of our control, the party has been changed to Saturday, July 2. Same time, same place, everything else the same. I hope some of you can still attend! At least now it's not Friday, the day we are all tired from work...
hey Jules, as the topic starter, all you need to do to change the title is click the edit icon (the little graphic of the pencil eraser over the folder at bottom right hand corner of the post) on the opening post.
that will open the post for editing and you can change the title as well as any text in the post.
as for me, i have to do some plan juggling since we had plans for sat but i am pretty sure we can still make it
thanks Jer, Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have changed the title in the Most Recent Posts, but hopefully people will get the idea. What a pain that they had to change things so last minute!
