Ok this is really wierd!!! I was eating lunch with my aunt today, and she said that she has a client who is a European that spent most of his life in US. The dude had a bag so she asked him if he was coming from a trip. The guy said no, he was going later that day to play volleyball. She responded to this oh my nephew plays volleyball also everyweek. (She doesn't know about dictator jer shutting down the sport this week...). Anyway he replies, oh he definitely doesn't play with us, because this is a team made mostly of American Expats!!! I checked out some stuff, and he definitely does not play with the mm gang. I feel like the Seinfeld "Bizarro World" episode...

Dictajership, pretty clever... Well, since you know I play on another (not bizarro jerry) team, I definitely will not add one more responsability to my schedule. There is a Polideportivo called "Fernando Martin" off of line 7's "Franco Rodriguez" stop. It is fairly centric, very well maintained indoor wood court. it costs $32eur/hr. If anyone is interesed they are welcome to set something up. However I will leave an open invitation before the thread is closed. To anyone who plays well, and is willing to play tough e-mail me and I will keep you updated on what days we have practice. The general conditions are: * Do three touches * We do not have a fixed meeting schedule, about twice a month * We play in a role assigned team (reciever, setter, spiker) you will be assigned a position based on your capabilities. * Its free, my sports club pays for the court. * Most of the people jump serve, so you'll have to recieve really hard serves

Rocco, it has been more than proven that nobody is motivated enough to pay to play and much less to organize it all so we will wait until april and resume outdoor. saludos, jer...

OK. Can someone put up a map. The directions aren't clear to me. Not sure if I have even been to that side of the park. Thanks, Shawn

Hey Rocco, thanks for getting vball back on track. The new spot is very good (alas a bit far away from Alfredo's Barbacoa ) It really looks like the cops will leave us alone here, they actually drove by a couple of times less than 6 feet away from the net, and never said anything, even though Rocco with his trademarked one hit random return almost hit their car... Also, I think the place is much more protected from the sun than the other two places, so it will be nicer when the summer comes around...
