Just wanted to let you all know that you can now sign up for the Carrera de la Mujer. The event takes place Sunday, 7th May with part of the 5 Euro subscription money going to cancer research.

holaaaaaa...that is so funny...i was going to post about this and propose a mm-mujer team!! then jer can come out and photo us and put us on the mm site!!!

seriously...it is a lot of fun. it is only 5 km which at a slow clip would take 40 minutes or so.

the best part is the ambiance...everyone is going crazy having so much fun. plus you get to run by a firehouse where all the hottest guys hang out to cheer you on.

I'm in, yes! I haven't been running lately but I'm starting to feel like I can get back into it and this race can be walked perfectly, besides, this will give me motivation to start running again.
I looked up the info on the website, we can even sign up as an official team but I guess we would have to do it under the "tres chicas misma empresa" or "tres chicas mismo gimnasio" categories. So Jer, what do you want to consider us? Your employees or members of your gym? And if we get enough girls to participate we could even do two mm teams! So now the question remains on how "the man" is going to sponsor us.

I'll be running with my basketball team, but i'll be nice if we meet there girls - just like last year at least, when Lena had to wait for us 20 minutes..

I am thinking about walking the race again this year... last year it was my foot operation, this year I want to do it with Angelito.

I will do it but ONLY if we don't have to wear that outfit they are sporting on the front of the Carrera del la Mujer page. Candy and I did our bit dressing like fools while running for San Silvestre, thank you very much!
