Well everyone, took longer than I thought but Spanish house prices are in a free fall.

BBC News Property Slump in Spain Video

This relates to the coast but I've been following prices in Madrid and Tres Cantos and prices here are down 30%. When we first moved there was nothing under 450,000 today your seeing units under 300.000 euros.

i saw that on the news here a while back. that guy got fined by "hacienda" (irs here) for organizing an unauthorized raffle.

so, not only can't he pay his mortgage but now but he has a big fine on top of it all cry
