Age is a matter of mind, if you don't mind it doesn't matter.

Hello,
Although I have already sent you a private message, I will also answer here in case others have the same problem.
I had a good experience with the lawyer I used. I found her to be efficient, realistic, and professional.
However, keep in mind that:
1) There is now a new option, you can now be granted "licenciada" status if your degree is not available in Spain, but they decide it is indeed a valid University degree.
2) They may partially convalidate a degree. For example, if you are missing an accounting course to get a business degree convalidation, they may require you to actually take that class in order to get the degree convalidated (many classes are offered at the Uned, distance university). Yes, to get a convalidation of a specific degree, you must show class by class that you have taken all classes required in Spain for getting that degree. You must actually translate and match up class by class by class...
I was lucky, as between my undergrad Econ. degree and MBA I had all of the classes (and more) required for the Spanish "Administración de Empresas" degree under my belt.
Good luck and let us know how it goes,
Val
