hi all.
i have decided to rent out the office space i have here in the puerta del sol. the available space is right next to my office and
see a virtual view and pics of the space at
www.multimadrid.com/workstationsol please note that stations numbered 1 and 2 are taken so 3, 4, and 5 are the ones available.
there is no sharing of workstations, 1 workstation = 1 person.
below is a mail i have send to some interested peeps.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am renting the space as separate work stations.
the office is VERY NICE and is on a pedestrian street with a view of the puerta del sol. there is ac and i have a heater in there as well since the building has no central heating.
there is an elevator and it is on the second floor with plenty of natural sunlight as it faces the street ( see the view from the balcony at
www.multimadrid.com/workstationsol ).
the office is on calle del correo, if you want to see the location, go to
http://callejero.lanetro.com/apps/lanetro/mapas.asp?pai...2Dmadrid&prov=Madrid .
a few basics...
each renter will have his/her own key and could come and go as they please.
the rent is 150 euros per month and includes use of the worksation space which will have a new desk and chair provided by me. there is an adsl connection that is (like all connections) pretty reliable (they all go down once in a while).
when you see the layout you will see that the main room has space for about 6 workstations and the reception room space for 2 more, 8 in total.
however, I will limit the workstations to 5 (in the main room and will leave the reception area for a common room to meet in in case you need more space every once in a while. there is a closet in the reception room where each renter will have a shelf and there is a mid-sized fridge that each workstation renter will have a space in.
the door to the office is solid and re-inforced, the only security risk would be the possibility of another work-station renter (ideally there would be 5 stations) messing with your stuff. If you all get along this should not be a problem and if you use a laptop and take it with you when you leave that would be ideal.
i will charge 150 Euros a month for each station which includes the use of the space electricity and use of the common restrooms in the hall (shared with me, a dental clinic and a lawyer on the same floor as us). you can receive mail if you like, I have no problem with that.
if you want to take a workstation, you would need to pay the first months rent of 150 Euros) and leave a...
- 1 month security deposit on the office space (150 Euros)
- 50 euro security deposit on the desk, chair and keys.
... so that is 350 euros total to get in (1 month rent and 200 euros security deposit).
if you take a workstation i will put in a desk for you like the one at
http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDi...nPartNumber=90081209 as well as a normal balck chair. the chair is hard plastic so If you want a more comfy one, you can buy one as you said you were willing to do.
5 of these will fit nicely in the main room and will leave a lot of space for each person who has a station.
you can pay month by month but i will need a min. 3 month commitment. if you decide to leave the space once you are in, you will need to give me 30 days notice and if i decide to ask you to leave the space, i will likewise give you 30 days notice. as long as the room and the desk are in excellent condition, you would not lose any deposit money. i would write up an agreement with the terms between you and i and we would sign it. i would ask for a photocopy of your passport. this would be an informal agreement but written so that there is no confusion. you can meet people in your office but this means 1 or 2 people MAX every now and again, i do not want groups and large meetings in there as it would not be fair to the other work-station users. imagine i fill all 5 workstations and each person has 4 "guests", eeeeeeek!!!
