Hey, I know a lot of you out there follow Infojobs, but I just saw this job. It was posted yesterday and there are already 14 applicants. I don't know how to copy the actual link to the job, but if you go to www.infojobs.net and put KPMG in the Palabra Clave, you'll see this job come up as number 5 or 6. If you don't know, this is a major international consulting firm so the bennies and pay will prob be solid. Also, since they have revealed the company name, the department, and the city (Madrid), you can probably just send a CV directly there...good luck!

Barcelona Site Director
Academic Studies Abroad

Academic Studies Abroad, a study abroad provider with programs in Spain, France, England, Italy, and Ireland, is seeking a full-time Site Director in Barcelona, Spain to begin full-time in September (with paid, part-time training during the month of June).

The Barcelona Site Director will be responsible for all aspects of the program, including, but not limited to:

- Interviewing, assessing, and assigning host families
- Organizing and leading day and overnight excursions
- Registering students at our host universities in Barcelona
- Communicating regularly with our host universities in Barcelona
- Tutoring students who require additional academic assistance
- Providing assistance and counseling to students with personal needs, and assist during emergencies (i.e. hospital and/or doctor visits, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a site director or related work
- A degree related to study abroad
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English
- International study experience

The candidate must possess the qualities of a leader, be flexible, open-minded, highly organized, have good judgment and problem-solving skills, and be outgoing. The candidate must also be legally able to work in Spain.

Student/Academic Support Services Coordinator

DESCRIPTION

The Consortium for Advanced Studies in Barcelona (CASB)seeks a Student/Academic Support Services Coordinator for its Barcelona center. The Student/Academic Support Services Coordinator works with and under the supervision of the Resident Director to ensure the smooth operation of the program and the center on a day-to-day basis; it is a full-time, twelve-month position.

Duties include preparation of student documentation required by consortium members and Barcelona host universities; coordinate housing options for students; research and advise students regarding enrollment policies at the Barcelona host universities; coordination with host universities of course enrollment lists and collection of grades at conclusion of each semester, organize and coordinate excursions and field visits; maintain program library; and provide general administrative office support to the Resident Director to ensure the smooth delivery of the program.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum four year US degree (Masters preferred) -- or Spanish university equivalent -- with at least 2 years experience working in a study abroad office; fluency in Spanish, English and, preferably, Catalan. Working knowledge of both American and Spanish university systems. Candidates should be authorized to work in Spain at the time of application.
