Hey guys,
First- Shawn thanks for all the incredible leads!! I actually applied to this British Institutes offer yesterday and received a "pre selection" confirmation this morning! (pretty impressive) I'm excited but I wanted to see if anyone has tried this and if they know any information aside from the interview process. It says the TEFL training course may be in Spain and job placement in Italy, however it really isn't that clear. Anyone know anything?
Again, MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS SHAWN!! MUY MUY BIEN HECHO!
Hasta ahora
Andrea

En mis sueos I would be relocating to Spain with my lottery winnings and no need to even search for a job! But alas.....one must make a living and work for the greater good. If you can find something that you truly enjoy (most of the time) that you can get paid for, I count that as a blessing! Luckily I have found that in my HR career.

joquecalor, thanks for redirecting me to that pepsi website. And yes, we are thawing out up here in boston. We finally got some 50 degree weather this week! Eeker

Do you job seekers find monster.es to be helpful to you at all? I use it often, as well as the latpro website, and infojobs.es.

The other day I applied for an HR job for the IKEA store in Castilleja right outside of Sevilla....I thought that would be so much FUN!!!!!

Lets keep on searching, sharing, posting, and dreaming, vale, amigos?

Well I can't help on finding jobs but million thanks for that news about IKEA opening a new store in Sevilla ! Can't wait to spend hours trawling through the catalogue only to find when visiting the store that the item was out of stock!!!

Actually, IKEA furniture is great and am very very interested in finding out how prices of similar stuff compares with the IKEA stores in UK.

Hey Nige, Ikea here is pretty good at having everything in stock.

I have bought a lot there and only ran into the out of stock stickers on 1 or 2 items.

As for prices, my bro lives in Portsmouth UK and I have compared the Spain Ikea catalogue to the UK one he had. The staple stuff (small items knicknacks) are pretty similiar in price but bigger stuff (furniture) is more expensive in UK.

Sarita, we shall do a comunal mm finger crossing and wish you luck on that IKEA HR gig Big Grin

Saludos,
jer...
