Perish the thought, Laidback! :b:

I like my squid a La Romana only! Or,in bocadillos. Wink

That Marmite looks and smells like "Baby Poop"! My mother-in-law loves the stuff and keeps sending me a jar with her monthly "My daughter -in-law doesn't feed my boy right" care package!
I give it a toss, our dogs won't even touch it!

You can't beat hot beefy Bovril (made with melted snow of course) with a drop of sherry. I always bring a S.W. band radio when I go travelling to get the beeb.

Streaming radio: I did recommend this to my students for the summer, though I suspect it would be beyond most of them. What would they make of cricket? The Shipping Forecast?

The latter is best experienced when read by Charlotte Green as you lie tucked up in bed on a winters night with the wind and rain howling outside.

Marmite is about 9% salt, so I dont eat it.

Only 9%? It tastes like about at least 75%!

Marmite may indeed be 9% salt, but I make up for this by extracting salt from all my other food with my patented Desalinat-o-matic. By a strange twist of fate, this machine produces a useful by-product...toast!! When combined with Charlotte Green under the covers on a long dark winter night, much pleasure ensues... migas! German Bight me baby!

Please, nobody pay attention to what Sr.Muffinito says these days, 'cause considering that first came:

"Who needs sex when you have....muffins and v-ball at El Retiro on Sundays"

and then:

"OK, no volleyball until September and my muffin supply is running low... trying to stay calm."

I suspect -somebody- must be starting to think with his muffins! Eeker (or simply going banana(muffin)s). So watch out British ladies & sheep (Aaaahh!, now I get why he doesn't eat them....), go hide behind some green hills or something, he'll soon be on the prowl over there eager to mercilessly sweet-talk you all (hard to do here, uh?). Smiler
(Sorry this Brit humour is contagious [Embarassed] )

Seriously now "Muffy", you, and your little "graemlian" creatures will be missed....It's too bad you won't be here for the 'fiestas de Agosto', you would make such 'buenas migas' (no, I do not mean buenas Amigas! Roll Eyes ) with Barry and Pablo, you're all such charming and refined characters. Big Grin

Hey! we can do it too, you know, the Spanish way:

Po rom pon po,
porompon porompompero pero,
porompon porompompero pero,
porompon poromponpooo....
