Is it possible to work part-time when you have a student visa?
I was hoping someone might have an answer to this question. I applied for a student visa at the Spanish consulate last week and was afraid to ask this question at the consulate!
I will attend the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I am wondering if I can work part time with a student visa. I found some conflicting information about this topic. The official version is that you can't but the wording seemed a little vague, like maybe you could, under certain circumstances. I am wondering what people's experience has been.
I would like to work a little bit (just a few hours per week), so that I can supplement my savings and not have to go home broke, when the academic year is over (next summer).
