Hello all..
I have recently retired and the wife and I are planning a trip to Europe for 3 months starting April next year. Its been a while since the last time we were in Europe (US Army, 1976 to 1981). We both know that after our trip next year we will be wanting to return and stay for another year, probably in Spain. Is anyone else reading this forum retired and traveling in Europe for a year or longer? What are the requirements for the extended stay (tourist) visa in Spain? If anyone has any information regarding the above, I would sure appreciate any feedback. I've searched the search area of the forum and haven't found any useful info.

hey Frankie T, welcome to the board.

well, i did a quick search SEARCH search on "retiring to spain" and came up with a lot of threads, including the excellent one below...

- "retiring to españa".

so as not to have repeated threads, i am closing this one.

if you take the time to read through it (there are currently 3 pages), you will get a lot out of it, including a great post by "espe3" on page 2.
