It's high time I stopped by this great site and posted SOMETHING! Your forums Jer, are packed with tons of incredible info! What a difference from when you first started (kinda reminds me of my own forums...*sigh!*)

Anyway...if anyone needs EXTRA info on teaching in Spain (and particularly in Madrid) check out the Expatriate Cafe at www.expatriatecafe.com

I used to teach English in Madrid and have done a heck of a lot of research on teaching in Spain, specifically for Americans who don't have the luxury of having EU-citizenship. If anyone needs advice, help ect. in the planning, let me know by contacting me directly. I am on Xmas break and have extra time to devote to the Cafe!

Take Care All!

First of all, let me say that I am Honored to have the famous tracymoral on my message board Big Grin I have been wondering when you would get around to registering.

Thanks Tracy, truth is I am very psyched that my board has become as popular as it is.

I guess they all start out slow but eventually yours will get there as well Smiler

As for the English teaching thang, I have been sending people to the The Expatriate Cafe since I launched multimadrid back in April, 2001. It really is one of the better online resources for the Spain loving English teacher.

One thing, Tracy says below...

quote:
"If anyone needs advice, help ect. in the planning, let me know by contacting me directly."

... and while her forums are the most appropriate place for discussions related to teaching English in Spain and she is certainly an authority on this, it would also be wise to post on the "work and residency in espaa" forum on my message board as well since multimadrid is very heavily visited and the more places your ideas are posted the better, I am sure Tracy will agree.

Saludos,
jer...

Tracy and Jer,

Eron here (edr). Tracy, thanks for your time and expertise in your response on the post in the "other" Madrid web site (not sure if plugs are allowed here?). Dont' want to offend.

Anyway, I did post something for Jeremy to respond to (as per your request). It's under this same heading, titled "The Ultimate."

Yes, Jer, your site certainly has grown immensely! Congrats! Very nice!

Thanks for everything!
