"The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well."

A friend sent this to me - I'm not affiliated so if you are interested, please contact her directly at the address given below:

I am DESPERATE to find someone in Barcelona (there are several cities involved, and one of them is BCN). I'm going to post the project description here, and you can email me at cantera at gmail dot com if you or ANYONE you know would be interested in it!

You will receive 10 euro for travel, either before or after the project, depending on your budgetary needs.

Your goal is to find between 15 and 40 public toilets in the city centre. At 3 euro per toilet, the more you find, the more you get paid.

If you can also give a list of exact coordinates of each location using http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html,
it's another 15 euro. (When you plug in the address, it's not the numbers in the bubble that come up; it's the longer numbers below the map we need. If the numbers are just as short as in the bubbles, move your marker a tiny bit and the longer numbers will show up.)

You don't have to reinvent the wheel with this. There are plenty of lists online that can help you locate a large number of these facilities, and it's just a matter of planning your route from there.

The toilet cannot be in a McDonald's, cafe, bar or restaurant. It can be in hotel lobbies, department stores, museums (for which you do NOT have to pay the entrance fee to use the toilet), transportation hubs, and of course stand-alone toilets on the street or in parks. It's okay if you have to pay a small charge to use the toilet, but it has to be publicly accessible.

You will need to take a clear digital photo of the outside of the building where the toilet is located. The photos should be labeled clearly, so I understand which one goes with which description. If it is in a large building, it can be a good idea to get a picture of the general area where it is inside, or what the signs directing you to the toilets look like. But, this is not 100% necessary.

You will be paid via Paypal, so if you don't have a Paypal account, please set one up ASAP.

For every toilet we need the following information:

1. Address. If the toilet is not located on an address, use the address of the closest building and put a note in additional information that it is located across/to the left/to the right from this address. Also, if the building has a name (i.e., "Termini Train Station"), please provide that as well as the address.

2. Price

3. Handicap accessible: Yes/No

4. Rating from 1 to 5 based on your sound judgment (is it clean?)

5. Baby changing facilities: Yes/No

6. Opening hours

7. Unisex: Yes/No (Is the toilet split into ladies/gentlemen?)

8. Additional Information. If you think something else should be added about the toilet: maybe it's hard to spot or it's free to use but it's good manners to leave a tip for the attendant.

Many people have set this up in an Excel spreadsheet and have added the coordinates to this list. It's up to you. Good luck, and let me know when you think you can finish! There's no GREAT rush, but I just need to know to tell my client.
