Hear Hear Harmless!!! It's not as fun here without the green beer that we habitually drink in Kansas City on this day but, thanks to our native-Dubliner teacher at the academy, we plan to celebrate in our own manner and will be happy to have a drink in your honor...! Cheers!

Hi all, First sign-on since a few minutes on the machine in Chamartin....I came down with a ragged cold in Segovia (still fighting it), so we missed seeing you all at the Rover. Mom, Dad, and Irene did go to Moores for a pint though, and have the hats to prove it
Just arrived in Barcelona this evening. Have some pics to upload, but cybercafe wont let me (soon I will). Having a great time. Enjoyed meeting some of you at La Caserola.
Mom and Dad are doing great. The hotel reception people freak out when they see these older people come in wearing backpacks, whose birth years are in the late 20s and early 30s. Blows their minds...
Saludos,
Paul, Irene, Roy, and Claire

The bass player on this trip with The Colonials was indeed the one and only Dave Mooney who does work in Finbarrs, he also plays with Shineig the local Irish band. The regular bass player had to pull out at the last minute as his wife was having a baby :b: and as Dave knew the set and had played with them before he was the obvious choice. I don't know if you noticed but there was a guest bass player in the shape of Tom Smith who used to play with The Colonials and came over for Paddy's weekend to be with the boys and girls.
