I am going to be spending two weeks in Madrid in November. Any festivals between Nov 16 - Dec 1? Do they start Christmas stuff that early? The only day trip I am certain about is Toledo. I would like to know about a good place to see and buy cheap lcoal/street art. Does this exist in Madrid?
Of course, local cheap street art is available. It just depends on your definition of the words "cheap" and "local". If you're alluding to the type of small drawings, etc. that are overly prevalent in a place like Paris, you'll be a little disappointed. Nevertheless, there are those who come to Spain to do their drawing/painting. Check the Retiro park for starters.

Also, of interest, visit El Rastro. There's quite a few artists who are peddling their wares. It's a great place to buy just about everything. It's the largest flea market I've ever seen.
