FYI: the city of Madrid has planned a huge party on July 27th, 2001 in the Plaza Mayor of Madrid that is to last from 11am to 12pm. Music, dance, and we hope "tapas & bebidas" ("tapas & drinks").
Not that the Spaniards really need a reason to party but this one is to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the "Canal de Isabel II" (the water system in Madrid).
