The San Isidro program is now out, theres quite
a lot of stuff on, some of it free. What caught
my eye is that tonight (Fri 9th May) theres a free concert in the Plaza Mayor featuring Terence
Trent DArby.

Whos he? He had some very big hits about 10 years
ago in the UK, like Sign Your Name. The concert starts at 8 though hes on second.

I am sooooo happy to be missing this...

I couldn't stand him then and I think with 10 years in the wilderness...he could be 10 times worse...

YIKES!!! Eeker Eeker Eeker Eeker Eeker

I am with leonora here, maybe old but he is still very remembered.

I am not a fan, never have been but gotta respect the guy.

As you can see on my webcam the Plaza is P-A-C-K-E-D so somebody must want to see him.

He is going on in about 10 minutes now and Ena and I have our usual "front row seats" Big Grin Wink Cool

Viva San Isidro!

Saludos,
jer...

Once again, while I stand in the crowds like a plebe, Jer has his penthouse "skybox." C'mon, Jer, when are you going to share?!
Big Grin

I thought Terence Trent D'Arby was pretty good, not all crowd pleasing numbers, but heart-felt. I have a couple of his CDs (don't ask why) and it seemed as if he hasn't lost much since he was away.

OK, old Tel-boy may not be everyones cup of tea, but I enjoyed a couple of minis watching the freebie and he was more memorable than anyone else on the stage, so he must be doing something right!

And he still looks like a hybrid of Diana Ross and Wacko all these years later...

I think I spotted Jer doing a balcony appearance for the crowds too (even more of a thrill than seeing TTD!) Jer, next time you need to hold a baby over the edge for the full effect.

I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose.
