Hi!

Is there something special during the carnivals in Madrid. This year carnivals are from February the 7th to February the 13th.

I've never been here in Carnivals (and maybe this year I'll go away again). Are there parades?. Does people dress up?.

Bye!

Oh why do I bother Wink

Hey totx, my Carnaval footage has been up since the launch of my website in April 2001. Loads of photos, videos, etc... at www.multimadrid.com/sites/carnaval2001/choose.htm . It is the next best thing ot being there in person Big Grin

Take a nice loooooong look at the stuff and then decide whenter or not you want to stay, I personally love it! (if you can't be in New Orleans that is).

Saludos,
jer...

Hey Jer and anyone else who's reading this:

I'm from right outside New Orleans, yet I'm headed to Madrid for the first time in my life during the Carnaval season. I'm staying with friends in Sol, but I'm wondering what it's life there. I'm used to the New Orleans' Mardi Gras, which is overwhelming at times, but do you have any suggestions on places to visit, when to visit and what to do? I've never heard much about Carnaval in Spain. I'd like to include it in my experiences while in Spain.

I'd appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Feel free to respond to me directly via email or post a response!

Thanks, and I can't wait to be in Spain...
