Hola JuanFelipe, jer here.
Welcome to the message board, looks like we will be seeing some great posts from you here on the forums due to your passion for Spain. Very cool because local insider opinions and advice are always useful
Well... many, many people share your love for this country. Personally i have travelled it up and down and been to every autonomous region including the islands. Have been to over 50 cities in 17 regions and when people ask me what I like best, I can give them a list of my favorite cities/towns but it is hard to pick the best of the best since it is all so amazing
Spent a few days in "A Corua" (La Corua) years ago and truly enjoyed it, especially the "casco antiguo" (old quarter). Stayed at a little hostal run by a family and they even invited us to have dinner with them. The impression I had of La Corua was that of a VERY big fishing village, the people were very down to earth and as kind as could be. Interestingly enough, La Corua is one of the few "big" cities in Spain that is right on the beach as well. Being from New York, I found it too be very small but it was a great time all in all.
Also have been to Santiago de Compostela a few times and absolutely LOVE it. Of course I kissed the Saint's toes at the cathedral, no visit would be complete without it
Personally, I can never get enough of the CRTVG (Compaa de Radio-Televisin Galicia) at
www.crtvg.es/ingles/camweb/primenucamarasflash.htm . The refresh rates are truly amazing! My dreamis to get the Plaza Mayor cam streaming like their webcams.
I can spend hours alone watching the cam they have inthe "Plaza del Obradoiro".
Saludos,
jer...
