Hi got my two teenage kids coming over next week and they both love the water. Can anbody suggest any open air pools? I've checked the previous posts but they are around a year old so maybe these pools are closed now.
Not sure where you are, but we like the pools near the Acacias metro station. You come up from the metro and then head downhill a few short blocks (Paseo de la Esperanza). It's on the right after you cross Paseo del Doctor Vallejo. It's the polideportivo Peñuelas.
There are three pools: baby pool, medium depth pool, deeper pool. Grassy area with some trees for shade. A bar that serves both minis of beer and gazpacho and an ice cream stand.

I will be exploring these and more throughout the month of August and report back later on them.
