Happy Holidays everyone!

I've just been speaking with the missus regarding New Year's Eve - we are still not sure exactly what we're gonna do and although we've read many of the related threads on here, we are still searching for specific ideas.

Ideally, we are looking for a meal/party/bed for the night combo. Finding such a deal online is proving a bit tricky, so any help from the experts on here would be great smiler

Somehow I doubt this is what you're looking for, specifically as it's on January 1 and not NYE, but for it IS a meal/party/bed combo. smiler

Space of Sound Festival

Heck, you can even fly your friends there and put 'em up in the hotel with breakfast, and the party, for a mere 350!

See you there??

hey deano....
i saw many such combo packages listed in the window of a travel agency. i don't know which one it was, but then again in the sunday elpais, the travel agencies had packages listed for dinner, drinks and hotel (in madrid). i'd suggest you take a walk along a big street with lots of travel agents and look at the offers in the window.
also, keep in mind that new years eve in spain is a family affair. all spaniards will dine at home and ring in the new year with the family. bars and restaurants (unless having a special event) will be closed. last year we were at a bar at 11pm and they kicked us out at 1130 to shut down until after midnight!
anyway, after that many bars and clubs will offer a special night package of 50 plus euros which will include an open bar and dancing. the crowds tend to be young though.
also, don't forget that puerta del sol is crammed with people who count down the clock there. bring your own bottle of cava and be sure that crowds don't bother you.

anyway, good luck and do report back on what you find!
