I am writing this with memories of the "can you find my plaza mayor waiter" story that ran a while back. A year ago, I found a great bar called Jovenes Flamencos, in a little side passage off Echegaray. The owner was called Arturo and sometimes they has a singer in there but it was all very laid back and certainly not a 'show'. Spent most nights in there - only leaving for breakfast and air. The place has now changed name/owner but I have heard that Arturo is now running a new bar somewhere else.If anyone has any idea where this might be, I will be totally 'made up'. A long shot, I guess, but I thought it was worth a try at least!
